I acknowledge and confirm that I understand these procedures and will adhere by them.MacGregor Outside School Hours Care has put in place multiple strategies to ensure we are minimising health risks to all stakeholders. The Risk Minimisation Measures in place when attending MacGregor OSHC are as follows;
Anyone (staff, visitor, and children) who are sick, even with mild symptoms, must not attend MacGregor OSHC. This measure protects everyone on site. If we suspect your child is unwell or has a temperature, they are required to be sent home immediately.
If a child or staff member becomes ill while they are at MacGregor OSHC, they will be sent home as soon as possible. While awaiting collection by their carer, ideally, the symptomatic child will be cared for in an area that is separated from other children at the Service. This is to ensure the prevention of the spread of respiratory viruses. The collection of the child must be immediate to ensure the health and safety of the remaining children and staff.
Enhanced hygiene practices for staff, children, and visitors are in place. Washing hands frequently is the single most effective way to reduce the spread of germs that cause respiratory diseases. Alcohol-based hand gel is a suitable alternative. Please sanitise your hands before using the Kiosks and upon entry to the Service.
We will ensure robust infection control and cleaning measures, including routine environmental cleaning procedures, are consistently implemented and maintained throughout the day.
I understand that my child requires a broad-brimmed hat, sun-safe clothes, enclosed shoes, and a water bottle every day during Vacation Care. These items are essential for sun safety and active play. Some special events may have additional requirements, which will be communicated in advance.
I acknowledge that on excursion days, my child must arrive by 8:00 AM to ensure timely departure. I understand that the staff will not wait for late arrivals, as it is essential to complete the safety debrief and confirm that all required items are accounted for prior to departure.
